LABYRINTHS

desert rose labyrinth green valley labyrinth inn labyrinth
Desert Rose Labyrinth - Kayenta Green Valley Spa Labyrinth - St George Flanigans Inn Labyrith - Spiringdale

The Desert Rose Labyrinth & Sculpture Gardens in Kayenta is the perfect marriage of art and nature. The labyrinth is patterned after the famous 12th century Chartres Cathedral labyrinth in France which has been used for centuries as a walking pathway for meditation. With a 360 degree view of red rock cliffs and blue sky, it is a beautiful place to relax and unwind.

All 3 Labyriths are free & open to the public

This labyrinth is patterned after the classic eleven-circuit path of the famous 12th century Chartres Cathedral labyrinth in France. Grace Cathedral in San Francisco uses this same labyrinth design, as does Green Valley Spa in St George.

Labyrinths have been used in many cultures throughout time, the patterns vary between cultures but are pathways to “unwind the mind”.

If you’ve gone for a walk to clear your head or work through a problem, you’ve experienced one of the benefits of walking a labyrinth.

Those who have walked the labyrinth say it brings a sense of peace, and the sculpture gardens are inspiring. But don’t take their word for it. Experience it for yourself.
